When your organisation uses the Preciq configuration platform (supplied under a separate agreement), the following information may be processed:

• Names and email addresses of project team members and client approvers
• Configuration decisions, parameter values, and sign-off records associated with a specific project
• Project reference and access-credential data (project reference, activation timestamp, closure timestamp)
• Approval and sign-off timestamps

Configuration and project data submitted through the platform is processed on behalf of the subscribing consultancy and remains the data of that organisation. Preciq processes this data as a data processor under the terms of the platform agreement.

2.3 Technical data collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• Your IP address
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring URL
• Device type and operating system

This information is used solely to understand how our website is used and to improve it. It is not used to identify individuals.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

• Responding to enquiries - to reply to contact form submissions and email enquiries.
• Providing the Preciq platform - to activate projects, manage the sign-off workflow, and deliver the services described in the platform agreement.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

• Legitimate interests - for responding to enquiries, improving our product, and managing our website. We have assessed that our legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
• Performance of a contract - for processing data necessary to deliver the Preciq platform to subscribing organisations.
• Legal obligation - where processing is required to comply with a legal or regulatory requirement.
• Consent - where we have obtained your explicit consent, for example for marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with the following third parties only where necessary to deliver our services:

• Cloud infrastructure and email providers - used to operate the Preciq project registry and to send and receive business email. We use standard business infrastructure and email providers, acting as data processors under their own standard terms.
• Professional advisers - including lawyers and accountants, where required, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Regulators and authorities - where we are required by law to disclose information.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:

• Enquiry and contact data - retained for up to 2 years from the date of last contact, after which it is securely deleted.
• Platform project data - retained for the duration of the active project, and for up to 3 years following formal project closure to support dispute resolution and audit requirements. Project data is then securely deleted or anonymised.
• Project access records - retained for 3 years following project closure.
• Website analytics data - retained in aggregate form only; individual-level technical data is not retained beyond 90 days.

7. International Transfers

Our primary data processing takes place within the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where data is processed by third-party providers whose infrastructure spans multiple regions, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including reliance on adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
